AgroMath is a controlled Abuja pilot that connects foodstuff sellers and buyers with order, payment, pickup or seller delivery, and handover coordination. This Privacy Policy explains how AgroMath collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use our website and app.
1) Information We Collect
- Phone number for authentication, account verification, PIN/OTP reset and account recovery.
- User role such as seller or buyer, to enable the relevant marketplace features.
- Verification events such as timestamps, success or failure for security and fraud prevention.
- Marketplace activity such as product listings, cart items, orders, disputes and support interactions.
- Location and address information when you provide saved locations, pickup details, seller delivery details, distance information, or handover information for an order.
- Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps and basic technical logs for reliability and security.
2) How We Use Your Information
- To create and secure accounts and prevent unauthorized access.
- To enable marketplace transactions: listings, ordering, saved delivery locations, payment workflows, pickup and seller delivery coordination.
- To provide order, delivery, payment, issue and support updates in-app and through enabled communication channels.
- To improve performance, troubleshoot issues and protect the platform from abuse and fraud.
- To respond to support requests and operational inquiries.
3) PIN and OTP Verification
AgroMath may use PIN and OTP steps for signup, login, account verification and account recovery. Verification codes expire after a short period. Do not share your PIN or OTP codes with anyone.
4) Service Messages
AgroMath uses transactional and service-critical messages only. Examples include verification codes, order confirmations, pickup or delivery status updates, payment notifications, issue updates and support messages.
Users receive verification messages only when they request or trigger them. Other notifications are triggered by user actions or service events such as placing an order, updating order status, reporting an issue, or requesting support.
5) Sharing of Information
We share information only as needed to run the marketplace and support transactions:
- Between transaction parties such as sellers and buyers to coordinate authorised order, pickup, seller delivery and handover steps.
- Service providers such as SMS providers, email providers, push-notification providers, payment providers, hosting providers and storage providers to deliver platform services.
- Legal and compliance if required by law, regulation, or to protect users and the platform from fraud or harm.
6) Data Retention
We retain data only for as long as necessary to operate AgroMath, meet legal and compliance obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our Terms. We may retain certain logs for security and audit purposes.
7) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no system is 100% secure. Please protect your account credentials and do not share PIN or OTP codes with anyone.
8) Your Choices
- You can choose whether to provide optional saved locations or order-specific pickup and delivery details.
- You may request support assistance to update your profile information or manage account access.
9) Children's Privacy
AgroMath is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to AgroMath, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
